If you are looking for something different to try or would just like to escape and relax. Come along to our lovely Studio set in a quiet part of town. We offer a bright and friendly environment and have years of experience in pottery as well as many other crafts. Create your own unique piece of artwork - "it's so easy". We also offer free parking and drinks. The studio is set in a third of an acre of gardens with lots of room for children to have a run round or feed the resident peacock.
We have a wide range of bisque pottery shapes and vibrant colours to choose from. You will create a unique piece of pottery no matter what age you are, something for all the family to do together. Our studio is open to the general public for pottery painting on Saturdays and Sundays 10.30am-5pm. During school holidays we are open from Monday to Sunday from 11am 'til 4.30pm. You are welcome to come along individually or as a group for a pottery painting party, however if you would like to bring a large group please give us a call beforehand. Private painting sessions can be arranged during the week.
A pottery painting session generally lasts around two hours. The pottery will be fired and glazed and ready to collect within a week. Alternatively you may want to do T Shirts or other crafts with non firing paint and take it away with you.
School Holiday Club
School holidays are nearly here again and it can be difficult to find something for the children to do during the long 6 week break. Why not bring them to our organised Summer Camp events? Every day they can do something different. Each workshop is for two and a half hours and they all do the same thing learning different craft skills The School Holiday Club is suitable for children 8 and above without a parent.
The cost for Summer Camp is all inclusive on weekdays only 9.30am to 12pm. We are then open all afternoon for anyone wanting to paint. Cost £12.00 per session for 2-1/2 hours, or 4 or more sessions is only £10 a session when paid in full.
Parties for Adults
Enjoy a social and creative night out with friends and colleagues where you can choose a piece of pottery from our large range. No experience in ceramic painting is needed and there is no age limit.
Fundraising Events
Ideas for PTFA events are always hard to find, especially unusual ones so why not use our Studio to raise money for your event or charity? We can also come out to your location and run pottery or craft events.
Corporate Events
Corporate events have been very successful this year for team building within any organisation both in the studio as well as in the workplace. Colleagues can sit and relax doing something entirely different from their day to day job and are amazed at their achievements. We do clay as well as pottery bisque. Team building games can also be arranged.
Special Needs
We can also cater for special needs and have wheelchair access. Pottery has no prejudice toward any disability and indeed creates great self esteem.
Nursing Homes, Hospice and Rehabilitation Centres
We go out to Nursing Homes every week. The elderly have enjoyed doing potter and we have lots of different tools and sponges, making it easy for people with arthritis or who are a little unsteady. If you work or own a Nursing Home, or have a relative in one, do not hesitate to give us a call and we will come over and discuss with you what we can do. Pottery is very therapeutic and has a calming effect on all that enjoy a day with pottery. Guests often say how relaxed they feel after a day with us and want to come all the time.
